Special Needs Mom's Night Out

and   partnered with Critically Loved to provide a much needed break to moms of special needs children!  We love working with other nonprofits to make more of an impact! On October 15th, moms received dinner, learned some stress relieving yoga, did their nails and received a massage.  They were even invited to bring a friend!  This event filled up quickly and received great reviews from participants!!  Due to repeated requests from parents to offer more opportunities like this, we plan on providing this programming twice in 2019!

Bible Study for Parents

Critically Loved offers group support at churches around our community.  We meet for nine weeks to work through a Bible study.  Parents have the opportunity to work through hard issues with other parents who know the struggle. The goal of this group support is to release anger about their child’s condition, see beauty among the ashes and draw them closer to God in the process.

Our third group just wrapped up and we will start a new one after the holidays!

Counseling for Special Needs Children

Thanks to a grant received from WHAS Crusade for Children, Critically Loved is now providing professional counseling to special needs children when there is a financial need!  Children with chronic and critical illness are at a much higher risk for anxiety, depression, bullying and stress than typical children.  Since a child’s serious condition affects the whole family, we hope to expand these services to parents and siblings in 2019!

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Since families are already overwhelmed with medical bills, extra expenses and loss of work, we never charge families for any of our services.  We rely 100% on donations to exist! Please consider becoming a monthly partner.  You can make a huge impact in the lives of chronically and critically ill children in our community!

Thank you for your support!

We are in this together
